Summary:

She agreed to play. She agreed to be mine.
I won’t let her change the rules of the game.

Violence has always been part of my life. I was angry as a child, underchallenged and neglected, with no outlet for my dangerous rage.

Years have passed, and I’m no longer a victim of my own aggression.

I’m in control now.

A control that many seek to surrender.
Just like her.
My Pet.
The beautiful blonde who agreed to submit to my will.

She agreed to be kidnapped and locked away until our contract is over.

She’s here to play a role.

But her defiance seems too real, her terror too honest. Watching her struggle is bone-chilling.

She’s getting to me like no one ever has before, seizing a heart that cannot love.

Or so I thought…

Review:

Violent Delights is a dark, seductive, and searing hot read that will light your core on fire, have your blood pumping restlessly, and alter your breathing a bit erratically. It’s tantalizingly erotic and wickedly hot – nothing tame or tempered about the slow, aching burn the two main characters ignite in one another.

This book is not your typical dark romance that’s plotted with scintillating sex and on-the-brink fear-stoking drama, it’s a psychologically mesmerizing twist on the fantasies, desires, and demands that strip our souls of reason, driven by carnal pleasure and primal need. But Violent Delights is also an anomaly, a sweet, meant-to-be romance between two lost souls, spirited together in an unsuspecting way. Joseph and Liana find that together they fill a void in one another, one that neither fully realized existed, but also one that neither can heal without the other.

Violent Delights will leave the reader spellbound. Author Linnea May does it again, delivering a riveting, magnificently crafted, original story with hotter than H*ll sex scenes, decadent romance, true love, and a heartfelt HEA between two deeply devoted characters.

Hands down, it’s a hot read that will leave the reader hoping for more.
