Dirty Rumor: A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Summary:

The hotter the billionaire, the dirtier the rumors.

Ace Kingsley has a ripped body, smoldering gray eyes that make panties drop, and a reputation for trouble. Two years away from the New York scene have only made him more irresistible…but he couldn’t care less if anyone wants him.

As soon as he steps off his private jet, dirty whispers fill the city about where he was…and why he’s back. He doesn’t give a sh*t what people are saying—they’re worthless to him. There’s not a woman on the planet who could capture his attention.

Except Carolyn Banks.

She’s way too good for him—confident, successful, and beloved by half of New York. He can’t say no to her, and he doesn’t want to.

One sexy, no-holds-barred night together and they’re both in way too deep. But the truth about Carolyn’s real career might be more disastrous for them than the rumors swirling around Ace…

Review:

Author Amelia Wilde delivered another five-star read with her latest – and final – installment in the “Dirty” series. In “Dirty Rumor”, Carolyn finally gets her story, and those who have followed the series may be surprised to discover just how Jess’s and Eli’s loyal friend has made her fortune and that she’s more multi-dimensional than the kind-hearted fashion aficionado we’ve had a chance to get to know so far.

Wilde weaves a fast-paced and seamless storyline with a couple interesting twists – Ace hasn’t had as easy of a personal life as one might have guessed –  but it’s the chemistry between Ace and Carolyn that’s hot enough to melt steel that blew me away. No question these two characters belong together – there’s never a doubt from the moment they lay eyes on one another (the sparks sizzle off the Kindle), and few authors are as effective at creating such electrically charged couplings as Wilde. Her writing keeps getting better and better.
